The EMEA division employs 12,283 people and is headquartered in London, England. Its main markets are Scandinavia and France. The ASSA ABLOY Americas division includes the North and South societies. In 2006, the division has achieved organic growth of 10 percent, a turnover of € 1,086 million and operating profit excluding restructuring costs dees € 208 million profit. The Americas division employs 9,641 people and is headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, United States. Its main markets are the United States, Canada and Mexico. Among the leading companies in the division include Corbin Russwin, Curries, Emtek, Medeco, SARGENT and Phillips.
 

  • Asia Pacific

The division includes companies in Australia, New Zealand, China and the rest of Asia. In 2006, this division achieved organic growth of 4 percent, a turnover of € 247 million and an operating profit excluding restructuring costs of € 23 million. The Asia Pacific division employs 5,099 people and is headquartered in Hong Kong. Its main markets are Australia, New Zealand and China.   • Global Technologies

Global Technologies is the global entity of the Group mainly focused on products areas of access control, secure card issuance, RFID and the hotel security technology. In 2006, the division achieved organic growth of 12 percent, a turnover of € 452 million and operating profit excluding restructuring costs of € 65 million profit. Global Technologies division employs 2,183 people and is headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. The most important division brands are HID, Fargo Electronics and VingCard.
 

  • Entrance Systems

Entrance Systems is a global provider of complete ASSA ABLOY solutions  for automatic doors. The division also has a full range of services for the aftermarket. In 2006, the division has achieved organic growth of 11 percent, a turnover of € 291 million and operating profit excluding restructuring costs of € 39 million profit.
